I do not use a measuring tape during fittings. Measurements can provide a starting point, but they cannot account for differences between brands, fabrics, cup shapes, band construction, or the way a bra sits on your body.
I look at how the bra fits, how it supports you, and how it feels when you move.

One of the biggest differences at Althea’s is that I personally choose the bras and lingerie carried in the boutique.
I attend lingerie trade shows in New York, work directly with vendors and industry professionals, and select pieces with real customers and real bodies in mind.
Because I also perform the fittings, I know which brands run differently, which styles work well for certain shapes, and which bras solve the problems women bring into the fitting room.
The person helping you find the right bra is also the person who decided that bra deserved a place in the store.
